Design, analysis and layout of analog circuits are increasing in complexity as modern technology nodes are constantly decreasing the minimum feature size. Deep sub-micron technologies with nanometre channel length introduce new effects which force a paradigm shift in analog circuit design. Aside from process-dependent variations also the influence of aging effects (like NBTI and HCI) is taken into account. In order to design circuits with lifetimes in the range of decades the impact of transistor degradation on system performances is of high significance. ITEM is developing custom circuits, design methods and EDA assisting tools  with the focus on highly reliable components.
